All timers share the same interface and controls. Lets break those down.
Top Panel
The top status bar simply shows the day, current time and battery level.
Action Panel
From left to right
"Burger" Menu – Your control center. Access key features like session management, progress graphs, and settings to customize your experience.
"Work," "Pause," and "Break" Buttons – Tap to start an interval. The active mode is highlighted with a white background and underlined text. Your session length adjusts based on the timer type and your personal settings.
"Finish Session" Button – Wrap up your session with options to review progress, start a new session, end your shift, or simply return to what you were doing.
Break Panel
When you're in a Work or Pause interval, you'll see two key break metrics:
- Break Accrued – The break time you've already earned.
- Break Projection – How much break time you'll earn if you complete the interval on time.
If you extend or shorten the interval, the estimated break due will adjust accordingly—giving you real-time feedback on your work-break balance.
When you're on a Break interval, the panel will display three key metrics to help you manage your rest time effectively:
- Break Due – The break time you've accrued from your last work interval/session, or the minimum required break time—whichever is greater.
- Left – How much accrued time remains in your current break.
- Taken – How much of your accrued break time you've already used.
You're always free to take a longer or shorter break than the time you've accrued.
- If you take less than your accrued break time, the remaining balance carries over into your next break.
- If you take more, no problem—your workflow stays flexible, allowing you to adjust as needed.
This system ensures you maintain a sustainable rhythm without feeling locked into rigid break times.
Timer Main Panel
There are various different timer faces that you can choose, by sliding the panel left or right. Each face has its own merits, choose whichever one suits you best.
You can also adjust the timer settings by tapping on the appropriate dial.
In the lower left is the mute all button. Use this to turn off all sounds. If the timer runs out, the timer display will alternate its background colors between black and white acting as a silent alarm. This can be configured in the settings menue to always do this regardless of mute settings or to never do it.
In the bottom right is the full screen icon, which when enabled will only show the timer panel for a less distracting experience. When the timer is due to run out, the application will automatically exit full screen mode. You cannot reenter full screen mode when the timer is overtime.
Session Overview
This panel shows you the work, break and pause intervals you have completed, as well as projected work and break intervals for the session format timers.
Timer Controls
This panel shows you the start and projected end of this interval, and allows you to adjust the timer's total time, which you can do in several ways either by:
Tapping on the central timer total amount and choosing the exact time that you want.
Tapping on the increase/decrease button(s). On smaller displays this will be plus/minus 5 minutes, and on larger displays plus/minus 1 minute.
You can also adjust the start time of the interval, for those situations where you've either started the timer late, or you've started timer but not actually switched your focus.
Additionally you can adjust the end time of the interval to better suit when you'd like to start the next interval.
